Day 1 Accra
Meet your morning arrival at Kotoka International  Airport. Safe transport to your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle in Accra. Refresh and relax. Neighbourhood or Accra city orientation as to time permits.Overnight at a mid-range hotel with a nice pool near Oxford Street

Day 2 Accra City Tour
Meet your guide at 8:30 AM and depart on a guided tour of Accra. Visit Kwame Nkrumah Monument, Independence Square, Makola Market,  historic Jamestown, W.E.B. Du Bois Center, fashionable Oxford Street in Osu.Overnight at a mid-range hotel

Day 3 Shai Hills Wildlife Reserve, Bead Workshop, Volta River
Morning at Shai Hills for birds, baboons, antelope and cultural remains. Visit a glass bead workshop near the Volta River to watch this interesting handcraft. Enjoy a waterpark on the Volta River and motorboat to the Akosombo dam Overnight at a budget chalet on the banks of the Volta River.

Day 4 Umbrella Rock, Boti Falls, Botanical Gardens, Craft Market
Scenic drive to seasonal Boti Falls. 250 concrete steps to the bottom of the falls. Moderately strenuous 45 minute morning hike to Umbrella Rock for stunning vistasAccraContinue to Aburi Botanical Gardens and Aburi craft market. Bicycling is available. Overnight at a mid-range hotel.

Day 5 Elmina Castle, Posuban Shrines, Fishing Harbour
Morning departure, driving along the coast to the historic town of Elmina. Tour the U.N. World Heritage Site of Elmina castle  (video camera is extra fee)ElminaExplore the Posuban Shrines and a fishing lagoon of central Elmina Overnight at Elmina.

Day 6 Busua Beach, Fort Metal Cross,  
Departure to Busua, a wide beach that is one of Ghana’s most beautiful. Afternoon beach hike or bike to Fort Metal Cross in Dixcove and the Stone Village Busua. Late day relax at the beautiful beach of Busua, socialize in the village 

Day 7 Nzulezu Stilt Village, Fort Apollonia, Beach Afternoon
Early depart for the beach village of Beyin, near the western border of Ghana. Canoe ride through the Amansuri wetlands to the stilt village of Nzulezu Busua Childhood home of Kwame Nkrumah at Nkroful. Return to Beyin, tour Fort Apollonia. Overnight at a beach resort.

Day 8 Kakum National Park, Crocodiles, Beach Village, Fort William
Early morning departure for West Africa’s highest rain forest canopy walkway. Crocodile ponds and weaver bird community at Hans Botel. Stingless bee facility. Anomabu. Onward to the fishing village of Anomabu, tour the old town and Fort William Overnight at a mid-range beach 

Day 9 Morning departure for Accra, visiting sites along the way as time permits. Enjoy some time socializing in an unplanned neighbourhood to see our life Visit a typical family compound home. Traditional blessing for a safe journey.Safe delivery to the airport 2 hours before your evening flight.
